My Story

I've been a Disney Girl since the age of 4, when my family took me to the movie theater for the first time--to see The Little Mermaid. Then it was letting my hair float on the surface of the pool like Ariel, Little Mermaid sheets, making Aurora's crown out of construction paper, carrying books around in a basket like Belle, 3 hair ties in my ponytails like Jasmine. I went to Disney World in 4th grade and it was everything I dreamed. Breakfast with Jasmine! Autographs, Mickey Mouse, parades, rides and shows. As I got older, I never outgrew Disney. Collecting Hercules happy meal toys, buying and watching Pixar DVDs during college, and taking my daughter to the movie theater for the first time to see Frozen.

We had an extended family trip to Disney World planned for August 2021...during 2020, some people risked their lives to keep us safe, some people baked sourdough, or made friends with crows, or picked up a new hobby. I watched vloggers talk about the best Mickey-shaped snacks, character challenges, resort reviews and how to have the best day. That trip in August 2021 lit something new in me ...the magic is real. Every detail is intentional. Characters come to life. Cast Members are the pixie dust on every experience you have. You get to be a witness to or a part of, other peoples Best Days. Fun music. Delicious food. Beautiful scenery. World-class Entertainment. Happiness. No mosquitoes.

There is magic everywhere there, but if you have your head down, stressed about this or that, you might not be able to catch it as it's happening. That is why I do what I do.
